Helen & Daryl Pierpont Place Wedding

Helen and Daryl.. where do I even begin with these two? We instantly clicked at our initial consultation, I knew their day would unravel some magical moments and I couldn’t wait to help capture it for them.

Helen and Daryl’s Pierpont Place Wedding was an honor to capture. Their dearest friends and family traveled from near and far to celebrate their love. The day was filled with so many happy emotions, belly laughs and happy tears. They truly lived in the moment and soaked up every bit of their special day. Not only did they make me feel incredibly welcomed and loved but so did their friends and family. Also, this group knows how to PARTY.

Here are a few favorites from their gorgeous winter wedding:

Johannah & Joel Winter Mountain Elopement

Johannah and Joel had not one but two wedding celebrations. These were pre-covid-19 times and they let their friends and family “choose their adventure”. Their actual ceremony would take place in the snowy mountains of Utah and a fun reception down in St. Petersburg Florida. Johannah contacted me in early 2019 to capture the Utah portion of their celebration and to say I was excited would be an understatement.

Over the next several months and after one final meeting in person prior to the big day everything was all planned and ready to go. I especially loved getting the little texts from Johannah leading up to the big day with her sharing details as small as their cute pb&j matching socks that they would be wearing. A bit closer to the big day Johannah asked for recommendations for videographers and I was excited to recommend and work alongside my friend Emily. You can watch the video footage here.

We started their coverage time with a few immediate family and couple portraits while we waited for all of their guests to arrive for the hike. We hiked to the perfect location Johannah scouted out for their special ceremony and then continued the hike. Upon arriving back to the parking lot the rest of the afternoon was filled with sledding, hot cocoa/treats, mingling, and toasts.

Happy One Year Anniversary Johannah and Joel!

Kara & Cody Sundance Winter Elopement

A little over a year ago Kara reached out to me about shooting an intimate, snowy elopement. It would just be the couple, myself, and the officiant because they wanted to keep their day simple and sweet and focus on themselves. Officiant Anita Gordon conducted the service and did a fabulous job. After taking a few portraits around their Stewart Mountain Lodge cabin, we traveled over to a field near Aspen Grove to take some portraits of the newlyweds. We were the only people around and had so much fun capturing their special day.

Happy Anniversary Kara and Cody! I can’t believe it’s already been a year.
